Tesla Track Mode

An independent interface concept for track drivers, bringing handling balance, thermal status and session controls into one responsive dashboard.

Tesla Track Mode

A self-initiated interface study for Tesla Model 3 Performance. Tesla is the subject of the concept, not a commissioning client.

Make axle balance and cooling controls legible together, with immediate feedback and a clear distinction between vehicle status and adjustable settings.

Interface design and responsive interactive prototyping

Responsive HTML prototype, handling balance controls, cooling controls, session states and case-study presentation.

A working browser prototype with complementary torque percentages, selectable handling profiles, cooling switches and a session timer. All telemetry is simulated.

Balance before the next lap

This independent concept explores how track preparation could feel on a single screen. It brings axle balance, component temperatures and cooling choices together, so a driver can compare settings without moving between separate views. All displayed telemetry is simulated.

One control, two connected values

The handling slider presents front and rear percentages as a pair that always totals one hundred. Balanced and rear-biased presets give the control useful starting points, while the custom state keeps the current setting visible beside a short explanation of its intended behaviour.

Keep heat beside the controls

Battery and powertrain readings stay close to the cooling switches. Blue meters distinguish thermal information from the handling control, and each switch includes a short explanation. The compressor option explores additional cooling capacity as a concept feature, with no claim of physical validation.

A dashboard that stacks clearly

On wide screens, vehicle status and adjustments share two columns. On smaller screens, the same sections stack in reading order while retaining the profile presets, percentage labels and cooling controls. This responsive version makes the concept accessible as a browser presentation beyond its in-car setting.

What this concept demonstrates

The deliverable is a responsive interface prototype with linked balance values, cooling states and session feedback. It offers a concrete starting point for reviewing hierarchy and interaction. Vehicle integration, track testing and usability research remain outside the scope of this independent study.
